free consultation and site visit
I offer a free one hour consultation where we meet in your garden and you tell me what you’d like to achieve. I take notes about the aspect, trees, neighbour’s trees, light/shade, wind effects, soil type etc.and make a list of your priorities and wish list. We discuss the look you're after: cottage garden, formal, romantic, maybe open, minimalist modern or more intimate with hidden secret places...
Written PROPOSAL
I then prepare a summary of my visit and include all the elements we discussed and make a proposal setting out a schedule of work.
The scope of work involved will be reflected in my design and planting plan fees set out in my proposal.
DRAWINGS AND PLANTING PLAN
If you are happy with my summary, proposal and fees, I will arrange to come back and measure the garden and set about producing some initial drawings for us to discuss and refine. Once we have agreed on a design I will produce a detailed scale drawing and invite my landscaper to visit the garden.
LANDSCAPING
The landscaper will meet you and talk through the design together and the types of materials preferred. They will then provide you with a quote for completing the project. I am available, if you need me, to project manage the build and planting.
